Indeed, this is Gaytten's final season at Dior. His creations are renowned for their wearable touch and less for their dramatic, spectacular vibe. For the house's resort 2013 collection, the designer brings a wide range of pretty pieces screaming flirtatiousness and elegance. There are voluminous dresses, high-waisted belted skirts, tailored pants and jackets, cute peplums, tulle and glam evening gowns. We're rather sure that every woman will fall for these chic beauties and romantic prints!
We also wait for Raf Simons to take the helm and see his own approach and interpretation of Dior's essence. "My aim is a very modern Dior, but at the end of the day, I also look back," he told the New York Times. "I find that period between 1947 and 1957 extremely attractive, and there was a lot of modernity." Simons will unveil his first couture collection for Dior in July. He didn't share too much on the line yet he told WWD that, "I’m interested in creativity, the evolution of creativity and the relationship between creativity and the times we live in." Well, show must go on, isn't it?
