The 'Brush With Fashion' collection is the embodiment of a beautiful collaboration between The Body Shop and London College of Fashion. This special makeup-fashion relationship proves to be
extremely fruitful, resulting into a limited-edition, cruelty-free, fashion-forward makeup collection of on-trend colors for spring/summer 2011, each product containing an integrated brush for the easiest application ever.
The Body Shop teamed up with the London College of Fashion in order to create a trendy limited edition collection called 'Brush with Fashion'. With a playful, stylish packaging, the new range features products with built-in brushes for eyes, lips, cheeks and face, perfect for a quick and easy, on-the-go makeup application.
The color palette is so summer-appropriate including pink and peachy shades for pretty, fresh lips, but also natural eyeshadow hues for a soft, delicate look. Besides, one cannot resist to the absolutely adorable, graphic packaging, which was designed by first-year BA (Hons) Fashion Illustration student Katarina Voloder.
Ann Massal, international brand and innovation director for The Body Shop said that, "London is really a country that has fostered young talents, with the Young British Artists, and even in music. I was thinking, ‘Where [better] could I find the new makeup artists and fashion designers of tomorrow?'"
The Limited Edition collection consists of five products. There is an Illuminating Face Base, a Hi-Shine Lip Treatment, in two shades Pink Cream and Juicy Peach, a Tailored Cheek Tint, a Limited Edition Mini Brush Kit, and an eye palette, which comes in two sets of shades. At the launch event, makeup was shown on models wearing pieces by LCF alumni William Tempest and design duo Jena.Theo.
Hi Shine Lip Treatment
Available in two shades, Pink Cream and Juicy Peach, this ultra shiny lip gloss has an integrated synthetic-hair brush and it comes in a collectable packaging. Besides, it is utterly delicious due to its passion fruit scent.
Tailored Cheek Tint
With customized color, the Tailored Cheek Tint acts just like a magical wand transforming into a pretty, pink blush matched to your skin complexion. The result will be a natural, glowing, fresh-looking skin.
Illuminating Face Base
The Illuminating Face Base comes in one shade, Apricot, and it allows you to obtain a warm, glowing skin complexion, offering a flawless result. It can be applied before foundation or you can use it alone in order to get a fresh, radiant skin.
Mini Brush Kit
Everyone knows that on-the-go makeup can sometimes be a real challenge. Well, not anymore! This handy kit features all your daily essentials that you need when having to refresh your makeup.
The eyeshadow palettes in the 'Brush With Fashion' collection contain bright pink, silver and matte black, but also browns and peaches. The palettes also have miniature versions of The Body Shop’s synthetic hair brushes. "You can go bold, you can tone it down a bit, you can blend, you can mix, you can play — makeup is about having fun," said Ann Massal.

A gorgeous eyeshadow palette that includes four matte, warm shades of browns and apricot, a mini Eye Definer in Rich Brown, and a mirror and brush.
Limited Collection for Eyes - A LA MODE
For a more intense look, the collection also brings more intense, pearlescent eyeshadow shades in silver, white and pink, and a matte black. 'A la mode' also includes a mini Eye Definer in Black.
